Flea Market:
Please rope off your lawn and hang "No Parking" signs if you do not want cars parked there.
Placement of trash containers near the sidewalk will greatly help litter control.
Sale of any food or drink items is prohibited. The Health Department can impose significant fines on those who do not comply.
If you do not wish to have vendors on your tree lawn, please notify the Boosters at least 3 weeks in advance. Call 440-275-9689 or e-mail mailto:junen@unionvilleohio.com
Residents who have friends or family participating in the event are asked to support the fund raising effort by making a $5.00 donation.
Dangerous items such as weaponry are not allowed to be sold to underage children.
Should anyone approach you with questions about Flea Market please direct them to the Boosters at 440-275-9689 or mailto:donm@unionvilleohio.com
Volunteers:
Boosters could not continue the good works for the community if not for the volunteers. Anyone wishing to donate their time for any event is greatly appreciated. The club needs help in the following areas:
· Meeting participation
· Party planning and refreshment provision
· Serve as Booster Club officers
· Care and Maintenance of hanging plants and flags
· Weeding of flower beds at Community Center
· Lawn care and snow removal at Community Center
· Flea Market
· Vendor check in on Flea Market day
· Collection of fees from vendors
· Set up and removal of traffic signs
· Set up of Community Center
· Marking spaces on Friday prior to Flea Market
Please attend the monthly Boosters Club meeting on the first Monday of each month at the Community Center at 7:00 pm. Even if you are not able to volunteer your time, we value the input residents have for the community.
Resident Directory:
The Boosters are considering a Unionville Directory. Residents are asked to send their mailing address and e-mail address to mailto:cvincent@unionvilleohio.com Officers and members of the Boosters can then advise you of the upcoming events and current projects. All information will be kept confidential and will not be given out to any other organizations.
Parties:
The Boosters usually have the following parties for the community each year.
· Easter
· Halloween
· Christmas
These are for Unionville residents and their families. If you wish to participate and are not a resident, please contact the Boosters to put your name on the party list. To participate in some events, non-residents will be asked to pay a nominal fee per family.
